47th Joint Operations Unit - Rules & Guidelines

General Conduct

• Follow Arma 3 EULA, Steam Subscriber Agreement, and Discord Terms of Service where applicable at all times.
• Keep discussion, jokes, and banter respectful regardless of background.
• Use of exploits or cheat mods (e.g. Personal Arsenal) is prohibited.
• All important in-operation communication is expected to be in English.
• Spamming is prohibited.
• Poaching members from other units, advertising for other units, or sharing invites to other units is prohibited.
• Follow all mission restrictions set by the operation host.
• Members must align their in-game and Teamspeak name.

Moderation

• Participating units are responsible for the conduct of their members.
• Inter-unit issues will be moderated unit leader to unit leader.
• The 47th JOU reserves the right to moderate and arbitrate any event run through the 47th Mission Board.

If participating units do not enforce baseline conduct of their members or are unwilling to participate in responsibly resolving inter-unit issues, the 47th JOU reserves the right to step in and issue the following penalties as it sees fit:

1. Warnings - formal notice of rule violation
2. Element restrictions - limits on participation in specific roles or events
3. Temporary time-outs - suspension from Mission Board events for a set period
4. Permanent bans - removal from all 47th JOU operations

These measures will be applied unit-wide. The 47th JOU will not involve itself in disputes between individuals that do not involve its members directly.
