By accessing and using the 47th Joint Operations Unit Mission Board ("the Site") and related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Site.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and the 47th Joint Operations Unit ("47th JOU", "we", "us", or "our").
Your use of the Site is also subject to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which form part of these Terms.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Site and participate in the 47th JOU. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Access to features of the Site requires authentication through Discord. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
The 47th JOU is a semi-serious milsim community. Members and visitors are expected to conduct themselves with maturity and respect. When using the Site, you agree not to:
Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, permanent ban, or removal from the unit, at the sole discretion of unit leadership.
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio, video, and software, is the property of the 47th JOU or its content creators and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Arma 3 and related trademarks are the property of Bohemia Interactive a.s. The 47th JOU is a community project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Bohemia Interactive.
By submitting content to the Site (including ORBAT comments, event descriptions, and after-action reports), you grant the 47th JOU a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute such content in connection with the Site and unit operations.
You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you submit and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.
The Site integrates with third-party services (Discord, YouTube, GitHub). We are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is governed by their respective terms and policies.
The Site and all content are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Site at your own risk.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights you have under law that cannot be excluded or limited, and these disclaimers apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales.
Subject to the above, and to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the 47th JOU, its leadership, staff, and members shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Site, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the 47th JOU, its leadership, staff, and members from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall remain in effect.
We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, although we encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any issue informally.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
