The date is 10 March 1966. In the aftermath of the siege of FOB Chizel, PAVN forces in the region have largely fallen back to the jungles and are once again relying on occasional guerilla raids rather than large-scale offensives. Because of this, most operations have continued as search & destroy raids, seeking out VC tunnels, supply caches, and civilian supporters. As it stands, Broadsword Platoon is being redeployed from Duc Thanh airbase to the northern region, Outpost Warden, to conduct patrols and operations there.
