Vietnam Mission 5

The date is 27 April 1966. In the aftermath of the disaster at Outpost Warden, Broadsword Platoon has been transferred out of the Duc Thanh operational area and attached to 2nd Battalion of the 16th Infantry to replace losses they suffered in a recent operation. In order to curb growing VC activity in the region, as well as to familiarise Broadsword with the region, the platoon has been ordered to conduct search and destroy operations along the main river.
